Frequently Asked Questions
How long are lessons?
60 minutes, unless the student is younger than 3rd grade. For a beginner, we’ll do scales, two pieces of music, technique work, sight-reading, music theory, rhythm workbook and exercises with a metronome. That’s a lot of stuff!
I'm an adult, new to music... (?)
Awesome, I love helping adults learn music!
Do you teach siblings?
Yes. My rates are for the total amount of time and are discounted for each half hour beyond one hour.
What method do you use?
I use my own comprehensive cello method, Cellosophy. Cellosophy is used by cello teachers around the country.
