Nine Clouds was composed for Volume Two of my cello method, Cellosophy.

It draws inspiration from Michael Gordon’s "Rushes for Seven Bassoons."

It is meant to be a fun virtuosic piece for advancing beginners, but is novel enough for a professional concert.
